I cannot express to you how much I was and
still am so happy with my cake vendor. First of
all Nicola was very nice and very open to
suggestions from me when I contacted her.
I almost missed out on mine as I completely
forgot all about selecting a cake vendor
(blasphemy, I know!) and had finally decided to
settle for cupcakes when she followed up with me
and I thought to myself, this lady is so nice and
she seems really easy to work with so ok let me
check her out. Mind you it was about 6 weeks
before the wedding. We finally met and I tried
her Mocha Mousse on Chocolate Cake and
I was SOLD! I tried the other flavors as a common
courtesy since she had brought a few others
but I knew that was the one. While I was ironing
out the details with her my husband was inhaling
the lemon on lemon cake. It was so good and I
was so excited about a cake like I obviously wasn't
before as you can see by my lack of serious
searching for a cake vendor. I wrote her a
check on the spot, and she was very patient with
me the WEEK before the wedding when I changed
the whole design. What a bridezilla! Looking back
I really do apologize! The wedding day came and when
she went to get the ribbon I left for her it was nowhere
to be found and she was so clever and so professional
she fixed it and no one knew that day that my
"Ribbons" where actually chair covers sashes!
Disaster fixed instantly, what a pro! The cake was
sooo good, I got a ton of compliments during and
after the wedding and the best man included it in his
thank you card to us a few weeks later! LOL!

It was also absolutely delicious! Everyone loved
the different flavors. And personally I was very
happy Micah and I decided not to smash cake
in each others faces when we cut the cake as
not one yummy bite went to waste! The truffle
favors were a hit as well. They were just

taking, just how I wanted it. The different flavor
of layers was a hit with all the guests, they all
wanted to know where I got my cake from!
Everyone told me that the cake was soooo moist
and just the right amount of seweetness...
it was soo gorgeous I was almost sorry i had
to cut it and distribute it. The truffles were

honestly, it was breathtaking. You captured
exactly what I was looking for in just a one
hour appointment. Not only was the cake

It was so hard to decide what flavor I loved
the most, so I wont, I LOVED ALL THREE!
The marble cake with rasberry cream was
to die for, the lemon cake with lemon curd
was HEAVENLY and oh my gosh...the
spice cake with cream cheese filling...
I mean, my mouth is watering just as
i'm writing it! I cant tell you how happy
I was with the whole package!! It was
more than I could've ever hoped for!

When I opened the refrigerator I gasped out loud
"Oh my god!" It was the beautiful cake I could have
EVER asked for. The detail on the flowers was
incredible. The presentation, perfect. All of my
guests commented on how wonderful it tasted.
It was devoured in less than 20 minutes!
The spice cake was a surprise hit, followed
closely by the chocolate and strawberries.

I could not begin to tell you how many times I changed the design of my cake. Through these changes Nikki always remained friendly and professional. Her humor made her even more personable. I could'nt have opted for a better vendor. Nikki met all our needs and expectations. The cake not only looked great, but it tasted EXCELLENT. Nikki is very affordable and works with everyone's budget. She runs her business the way all people should, which is on honesty and tailored to meet the customer's needs.
